Wonderverse Video

Ignite imaginations in any classroom and get your students writing with Wonderverse!

Welcome to Wonderverse, a world of poetry where anything is possible and creativity comes to life!

Inspire your students to dive into their imaginations and write a poem about any topic. The theme is open, so they can write about incredible worlds or fantasy creatures, express their inner thoughts or emotions, describe their favorite people, places or hobbies, or write about your class topic. They can also write in any poetic style.

🌟 Colorful graphic organizers to help your students plan their poems

🌟 Opportunity for your students to be published in a real book

🌟 No limits on poetry style or subject

🌟 Bookmark for every entrant and certificate for students we'd love to publish

🌟 Free to enter

Download the free resources which offer plenty of inspiration and teaching aids, including example poems from past winners, a lesson plan and accompanying PowerPoint slide deck (also available as Google Slides), and how-to writing guides for poetry styles and techniques.

Wonderverse is ideal for 6-13 year-olds, but students outside the age range are welcome to enter, so it's a great opportunity to get your whole school writing.

What will your students find in Wonderverse? We can't wait to find out!

We've worked with over 20,000 schools. Here's what some of them have to say...

This is my sixth year using YW to publish my students' writing and they are so easy to work with! My students are always excited to use the provided theme and challenge themselves to be chosen!
