Wonderverse is a poetry contest guaranteed to ignite imaginations in any classroom and get your students writing.

What is Wonderverse? It's an exciting world of poetry and anything your students want it to be!
Inspire your students to dive into creativity to write a poem about any topic. Using any style or technique, they can write about incredible worlds or fantasy creatures, express their inner thoughts or emotions, describe their favorite people, places or hobbies, or write about your class topic.
🌟 Colorful graphic organizers to help your students plan their poems
🌟 Opportunity for your students to be published in a real book
🌟 Tie in with your class topic or book for cross-curricular links
🌟 No limits on poetry style or subject
🌟 Bookmark for every entrant and certificate for students chosen for publication
🌟 Free to enter
There's a wealth of free resources available to download, including example poems from past winners, a lesson plan and accompanying PowerPoint slide deck (also available as Google Slides), and how-to writing guides for poetry styles and techniques.
Wonderverse is ideal for 6-13 year-olds, but students outside the age range are welcome to enter, so it's a great opportunity to get your whole school writing!
Your students will love letting their imaginations run free, and we can't wait to see what they find in their Wonderverse!
